Im not much for words my friends but this is something I've been very aprehensive about. I've invested a tremendous amount of time and energy into my persona in Norrath from being told by a GM (whats a GM?) to not emote pick pocket people outside Crushbone, to using corpses to practice my ventriloquism, to busting poisons for fellow rogues, to lev/sow potion kiting Lodizal across the Great Sea (much to the disdain of Enlightened Dark), to serving as a CAPS-addicted officer in House Arcane, and typing in CAPS when I was not an officer anymore ;-) From my upstart guild called Of Honor to the machine of compassion known as Sanctus Arcanum its been truly spectacular. I've seen so much and at the same time not seen enough. I've felt the pains of loss and enjoyed the fruits of success. I've watched the sun rise through my blinds and just as often fallen face-first, slumped over in my chair before the raid had even begun. From Kaladim to Erudin and all that in between it has been a wonderful epic. I was fortunate enough to be a part of something truly revolutionary, a world that was unknown and endless. No other game or experience will be able to do what EQ did (no matter how bling-bling technology becomes). With that being said I want to say to everyone who has helped, supported, adopted, and most importantly had the capacity to put with my stubborn ways and extreme typoes ;-) I thank you.
The person behind Quip, Jason, is stepping off the trolly. Quip will live on with you all but the twinkle in his eyes will be different from mine. I hope he continues to bring joy and fun to Norrath... its whats in his pixelated heart... it what he was created for. A huge heart felt and teary eyed thanks to Medaweni and Kavis and Anahka and all those who brought me into House Arcane that cold day over Lodizal's corpse (I even think Iustus was even there and in HA even!).
Ladies and gentlemen, trolls and ogres... I have buttered my last piece of bread.

A sad sad day it is when one of the best long term, oldest, oldschool compadres hangs up the daggers :-/
We may have never seen eye to eye (mainly because you only came up to my knees) but that never stopped us from having some amazing times all over Norrath with some amazing people.
I for one will certanly miss the man who was Quip Quarrel.
