Hi folks, many of you that know me already, know that I used to write (hack) a bunch of songs EQ or fantasy gaming related, generally using (stealing) other known tunes to be used as the melodies for my stuff. It was a fun little hobby. Every now and then I will post one of my older songs here just to share it for you. On most of my songs, I will include a midi file address so you may hear the tune as you read my lyrics. Some however (like this one), do not have midis so I will just find an MP3 sample or something similar to give you an idea of the music.

Some of these songs will be themed to individual people or certain events. Now, because I target specific people, I thought it would be best if I wrote a Disclaimer Song first. Just to cover my butt if I accidently get someone mad. So the following is my famous Bardic Disclaimer Song.

Sit Back, Relax and Enjoy.

A Bardic Disclaimer Song

Well as Bards we sing songs that are revealing,
Because we bring the skeletons down off the shelf.
If our lyrics bring displeasure, it goes to show the measure,
Of your ability to laugh at yourself.

Well, simmer down my friends, simmer down,
Because the EQ Bards have come to town.

Now we don't intend to hurt no one through our meanness,
Or any reputations try to smash.
But, if you try to make us quiet, you'll have yourself a riot,
Because our silence can't be forced, or bought by cash.

Well, simmer down my friends, simmer down,
Because the EQ Bards have come to town.

Now the songs we sing all have a grain of truth my friend,
For humor is best when on the cutting edge.
When you think you hear a stinger, there's no intent by the singer,
To cause a schism or to drive a wedge.

Well, simmer down my friends, simmer down,
Because the EQ Bards have come to town.

Do not think you're all alone now in our lyrics,
We'll write epic songs for those upon a throne.
So assail us with your curses, we'll just add you to our verses,
Because what's fair for you, goes double for our own.

Well, simmer down my friends, simmer down,
Because the EQ Bards have come to town.

We trusted you.  We put out a helping hand.  Only in return we get a stabbing in the back.  Will we ever be the same? Well my answer is no!  I think about your death every day

I find it amusing that the Latter-Day Saints of our time accuse me of corrupting morality - which I wish I had the power to do.  Prepare to die

I've got an appetite like a war & I always hunger for more. Vicious mammal the blood is my call pound for pound! I am the most vicious of all!
